I'm not writing this post to toot my own horn. Believe me, I worked for this.
Hard.
And so can anyone.
It's all about priorities. How much do you want something? Are you willing to give up things now for what you want later? If not, that's okay. If the birthday cake is worth it, do it. If you're going to feel bad about yourself after and wish you hadn't, don't.
I'm at the point where I want to be in shape for the October show so much that I don't have cheat meals, treat meals, or even bites of treats. I know that in four months I will not remember how those peanut butter bars at my mom's house tasted (and believe me, they looked good!) but I will see the results of my will power.
Seven months ago I had just had Sophie and if I would have worn anything more than maxi skirts and maternity clothes during December, I probably would have worn a size 14-16.
Yesterday I bought a size 4. And they fit.
Do I still have cellulite? Yes. But I normally don't ever wear that size so I call it a win.
And I surpassed another mark. I dropped into the 130's. My pre-pregnancy weight was 135.
However, it's not about the number on the scale. I only weigh myself once a week (sometimes twice) or I tend to obsess.
What about you? Are you hitting your summer goals? I'd love to hear about it!
