I met with my trainer yesterday to go over what it will be like to get ready for a figure show.
There are 5 levels of shows; bikini, figure, physique, something bigger, and body building (ew). I'm planning on doing bikini. It is the easiest to get to because you don't have to build huge muscles. But don't think that it's going to be easy. Having a nice body for a bikini and being 10% body fat for a competition is totally different. I can get myself (and you) to the nice body part but I do not know how to get ready for a competition.
So I need a trainer. He will make my diet plan, exercise plan, supplement plan, water plan, and he will train me once a week so that I'm doing the right exercises for my body. I love that I have someone to be accountable to (even if it costs lots of money). Worth it to me.
Today I go in for my body composition and analysis. Yep, I get to stand in front of him in heels and a bikini (and since I don't have a bikini to wear -- a sports bra and tankini bottoms). Hopefully it doesn't scare him off.
Maybe someday I'll show you the before pic, but not today. You don't need to see the muffin top and cellulite. Just know that it's there.
I'll let you know what he says. Maybe I have too far to go to be ready for October. We'll see.
